We are a voluntary controlled Church of England primary school, situated at the southern end of Huby village. Our school  currently has 81 children on roll, organised into four classes and set within large playing fields.  Early Years are taught as a single year group within their own base, which consists of a large bright classroom and conservatory, a well resourced large fenced outdoor space that the children have free access to throughout the school day and their own toilets and sinks.

All new children are given a 'buddy' who will guide and support them during the first few days at Huby. However, often the friendships lasts for a very long time! Ofsted , 2015, stated that behaviour was 'Outstanding' and  'Pupils play together exceptionally well. If they do 'fall out' they are quickly able to resolve their differences....'

Before and after school care is provided by Patchwork Day Nursery (01347 811655).

The school is very  well-resourced with every classroom having its own computer systems and access to the Internet. We have a large hall which is used for Collective Worship, school concerts, productions and celebrations, indoor PE lessons and it is  where all the children come together to eat at  lunchtimes. Our playground is equipped with adventure play equipment and leads to a quiet wildlife garden with a pond.

Behind the school there is an extensive playing field including a willow-arch, outside stage, adventure trail and sand-pit. We also have a large outdoor heated swimming pool which is used during the summer term.
